Rob & Daria | Windsor Wedding Photography

Yesterday I had the very great privilege of attending and photographing the wedding of two very special people, Rob and Daria. I've known Rob for a long time and met Daria a couple of years ago when I photographed Chad and Nicole's wedding (my first wedding as an official photographer!), and I was SO thrilled when they asked me to do their photos as well!

The day could not have been any more perfect! The rain even held off until we were headed to the reception. ;-)

I know I was officially "working," but it SO did not feel like a job. I have so much I could go on about, but I'm going to post these few teasers (I had a hard time keeping the numbers down, so it's a bit of a lengthy teaser), but there will be many more to come!

(And OH MY WORD. Ukrainian dancing is unreal!! So. Impressed.)





















































Congratulations again, Rob and Daria, and thank you both SO much for including me in your day and for just being so awesome in general! (And your families! And bridal party! And awesome people I got to sit with! And, and, and!!)

Paul & Kersey | Newport Beach Wedding Rehearsal

I now have the pleasure of going back to last summer, to one of the most incredible experiences of my life... photographing Paul and Kersey's wedding week in Newport Beach!

My sister Becky accompanied me as my assistant and second shooter (pretty much indispensable to me!), and we spent a week staying on Balboa Island and having the MOST relaxed time I think I've EVER had in my life! We knew Kersey from several years ago when we lived in southern California, so reconnecting with her through Facebook and having this opportunity was just SO much fun and such a blessing on so many levels! We were excited to meet Paul who is a fellow Canadian, and as it turned out... they were totally made for each other. :D (Oh Kersey, you and your thing for Canadians. ;)

Since this was a series of events, I'll cover it in several posts, starting with the day of the rehearsal. The bride and groom to be showed us around the island and around the rest of Balboa to pick out some spots for photos before heading off to the ceremony venue: A cruise ship!



















































After the rehearsal on board, everyone headed back to the main house on the Island for the barbecue/luau. WHAT FUN, seriously.







































Stay tuned for photos of the wedding day and then... their adventurous "Day After" session! Parasailing and ferris wheels. Who could want anything more?
