The Essex High Crazies!!

I couldn't decide whether to nickname this group "The Crazies" or the just "The Fun Ones," because they were just plain FUN! And by "plain," I mean quite the opposite! Seriously, I had the BEST time shooting this group before they headed off to their senior prom, and I am so hoping to do more prom groups next year! (If yours hasn't come and gone yet and you want to do a similar shoot, let me know!!)

This was such a low pressure yet high energy session, and even though we were in the overgrown, overly weedy riverfront park here in Windsor (yes, the city is STILL on strike), I'm pretty impressed with how well these came out! (It definitely helps that I had some pretty great looking models though! ;)

Sneak Peeks of all kinds of cuteness!!

I have a lot to catch you all up on!! Aside from the OFFICIAL Jeff & Lisa engagement and Gerry & Stella wedding posts, I've got five new shoots to blog!

Last weekend was SO full of activity and just plain fun! I cannot wait to show you more from each session/event and tell a bit more in-depth stories from each group of people! I just have to say, and I know I've said it before, I am incredibly blessed to have such amazing people to work with. People from near and far, all different walks of life, I just have no idea how I managed to get the best clients there are out there! ("Clients" is way too formal a word, I think. :P)

Nick & Jasmine are engaged!!

Behold, the hotness that is Nick and Jasmine! Seriously, these two are the cutest couple ever... and soo funny!! I was not only dying laughing during half the shoot, I nearly died laughing all over again when I went through the photos later! I LOVE when that happens. :D

(Once again, you might recall their sneak preview post earlier!)

We started their session at the spot where Nick proposed: The Peace Fountain. Unfortunately, Windsor has been on strike now for over a month and the fountain wasn't even turned on... Lame. :P We made do and got some pretty sweet shots (if I do say so!) regardless of the lack of water shooting up from the river.

Once it started to get a bit colder (and we realized nothing was really open to do some indoor shots in public places), I suggested we could go to my house and take advantage of my family's dark and dungeon-like basement––I've been waiting a long time to do a shoot in that basement and in our stairwell! (The stairwell I speak of goes all the way from the basement, up two floors and ends at the second storey. In other words, it is awesome. I am now dying to do a Trash the Dress in there.)

Yes... I know you're all jealous of my absolutely picturesque basement. It'd be hard not to be. ;)

Thanks again to Nick and Jasmine for being such a riot and for your flexibility and adventurousness that led us into the depths of my family's dungeon!! I'm even more excited about your wedding in July!!
