Paul & Bethany Sneak Peek!

I know, I know... I am so behind with blog updates! I still have the "Official Mike & Wendy E-session" post to make, and once this is up, I'll have the "Official Paul & Bethany" post too! Life is exciting. :D

Anyhow, this past weekend all happened in a bit of a blur! Bethany is actually my first cousin and older sister to Josh, who's engagement session I did last fall.

Paul proposed to Beth only about a week ago, but their wedding is set for August 8 of THIS year!! So, given our CRAZY schedules and limited weekend availability, we decided to take seize the opportunity and drive up to Petoskey, MI (where Paul grew up) for their engagement photos. I had never been that far north in Michigan before, and certainly had NO idea Petoskey was so full of the most awesome locations for photos ever!! We basically took all of Sunday to take advantage of as much as we could, even hitting up the beach at the state park to get some shots at sunset.

We started out with a "typical e-session" (also known as "Round 1") in the morning, spending a bit over an hour at the first spot. Then we headed back to Paul's brother's house for lunch with his siblings and their families. We had already taken just over 700 shots, but there was so much more to do and see!! Beth and I especially were soo excited about all of the prime spots. After lunch we headed back out for Round 2... and we called it a day after about 1,800 photos––I have to say, those two were amazing!!! Willing to do anything, willing to go anywhere, willing to tough out FREEZING cold––and let me know tell you, it. was. freezing.

Had it not been for their adventurousness and stamina, I KNOW we would not have gotten half the shots we did! It's going to be realllly tough picking only a handful to post, so I'll just start with a couple from "Round 1":
